Strongman training plans are designed with the needs analysis approach. Lifting heavy shit all of the time we have found to be performance killers. Yes you need to have insane strength but you also need to have the strength endurance to solidify your event accomplishments. Max strength is a must, of course and so is your ability to move heavy shit when events call for time, reps, and distance. That’s your conditioning.
